David Ronen sings "Your Name", with music from "Baba Hanuman" chant by kirtan artist Krishna Das

English lyrics put together by me, beautiful melody by Krishna Das from his song "Baba Hanuman" (in Sanskrit). I first heard the original at an event with Benjy and Heather Wertheimer (aka "Shantala") and many people singing. It had such a beautiful, devotional heart-sweetness to it. That essence inspired me to write these lyrics in English. (FYI, my lyrics are not a translation of the original Sanskrit. That traslation can be found on Krishna Das' website).

This is wonderful to sing with many people - either as an all-together chant or kirtan-style call-and-response chant. I hope to have a video recording of that to share soon.
