What good is an induction without establishing verbal communication for rapport?

Isn't the point of hypnosis to make someone believe in what the voice of the hypnotist says?

The easiest way to build rapport is non-verbally, this is a demonstration of how hypnosis can be induced regardless of any verbal component.I will sometimes hypnotise people non-verbally then after a few moments talk with them.Alternatively I will use the ideas & principles demonstrated whilst verbally appearing to hold an ordinary conversation so that the person doesn't notice when they have entered trance.I may also do an induction like this then let the client have silence to heal themselves

Hi, Yes anyone can do that to anyone...normally I would be doing a similar induction during a conversation when meeting someone and shaking their hand so that they unknowingly go into a trance making them more responsive to what I say. In the context in the video here the person being hypnotised knew I was going to hypnotise him but didnt know how. I find if someone doesn't know they are being hypnotised it is even easier but you need to disguise the induction. Many sales people have learnt this

Are you able to plant suggestions after putting someone in a trance with a nonverbal induction as easily with a verbal induction?

Yes, although I didn't want to do any talking as I wanted to demonstrate how you can put someone in a trance, give them time to do their own intenal work and then have them come out in their own time. Once he was under I could have given suggestions etc if I wanted

you can do it on anyone unless they have epilepsy or any mental or psychological problem.

and if they are unwilling to be hypnotized, it can be done covertly.
