EU to embargo Iranian oil

EU nations have formally adopted an unprecedented set of sanctions against Tehran - which include a bloc-wide embargo on Iranian oil. The move targets Iran's nuclear program which, the Islamic Republic insists, is for purely peaceful purposes. since you use open source, you might want to check out two things.... the exemptions to the ban... Greece is exempt, Italy is not paying for their oil, it is part of a repayment from Iran, Spain is also exempt from the ban..... the other thing to check is the Iranian statement that they will only block the straits is the embargo effects their economy... so far India is willing to buy any unsold capacity... I have heard they will trade in gold...

Iran could close the straight and still export its oil to those who want to buy it. Don't forget that a third of Iran's coastline lies outside of the Persian Gulf. They probably already have underground pipelines ready as an alternative route.

What better example and proof do you need that the global economic crisis is purposefully being orchestrated than this? A Europe that's on the verge of total economic meltdown doing something which will guarantee that fuel and transport cost doubles.In a spiraling downward trip down the economic toilet?
