This Project-JK Moab Easter Jeep Safari 2008 YouTube video is of a run that we did up the elephant hill trail. along for the ride was toad and Bullfrog in their Rescue Green 2.5" TeraFlex budget boosted Jeep JK Wrangler X, Wayne, his wife Kathy and son Aaron in their Silver 4" Full Traction Ultimate Lifted Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited sitting on 37" MTR's and Brian (Bracket) and his wife Lauren in their Red Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon sitting on top of a huge 6" Skyjacker long arm lift and 37" BFG Krawlers and us in our JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited sitting on a Full Traction 4" Ultimate Lift, 37" Toyo MT's, Walker Evans Beadlocks, PUREJEEP front and rear bumpers and rocker guards, Superior 5.13 gears and AlloyUSA front Chromoly shafts. Elephant Hill is by far one of the most beautiful trails (if not the most beautiful) in the Moab area that I have been on. located south of Moab in Canyonlands, you will have to pay a small entrance fee to get in but it's worth every penny. the trail itself isn't very difficult but there are a few sections along the way that have big enough rocks and ledges to negotiate that might give a stock Jeep some trouble and is why it gets a most difficult rating. If you do this trail, make sure to do the 1/2 mile hike up to the Confluence Overlook as the view is simply outstanding. Hope you enjoy the video!

  • New to Jeep's. I want a wrangler 00-04

Is a manual trans or auto trans better for general trail off roading? Or is just personal preference? I am not talking competition rock crawling , just mild rocks,mud,etc... Thanks

  • i like to wheel in a manual because that's what i've always been wheeling. however, without a doubt, it is much easier to wheel in an automatic.

  • it's a trash sack. we carry it along and try to help clean up crap whenever we can. :)

  • im new at this, so do you guys perform all the stunts in 4LO ó 4HI ???

  • just about all the driving you see is done in 4LO. 4HI is better suited for faster applications like driving in the snow or fast across sand.

  • can i bring my wj? haha

  • Elephant Hill is a cool trail, no hard just cool. Me and my girlfriend camped at hells kitchen

  • @4vermont It is normaly just personal preference but if you are not used to a manual or get into a tricky stop say on a incline where the Jeep will want to roll back an automatic is better.

  • Thanks for the quick reply.

    Awesome Vid's

  • Plenty of time to enjoy the views. Also depending on trail ride, you will have the chance to watch others going up obstacales. Also, there are places just to go and watch others climb, if you so choose.

  • I'm going to the Jeep Safari next year (2010) and I was wondering if you can get out and look around or is it just keep moving...
