  • Linux doesn't have viruses. Make sure you have an adequate firewall, linux has many software based ones, but the firewall on your Router is probably fine. Don't open services you don't know or need, such as web server or ftp server.

  • your videos have made me decide to switch to linux. i wasn't sure at first how it would be but from your videos i can tell ubuntu is a really good operating system

  • Thanks samacedo101 - This is my goal with these videos, I really want to show everyone how great Linux actually is. There really is no good reason these days why people don't use Linux instead of Windows or Mac. Best thing is, it's free!

  • Question: Dose it automatically detect the sound card? And do you have to install the drivers or dose it do it for you?

  • it automatically detects. You don't need to install drivers.

  • wat do u mean by it doesn't have viruses don't u mean it doesn't get viruses

  • Have they made any strides in regards to running online games, including 3D ones ie: Everquest, Aion, Final Fantasy, and ugh, Wow? We have a household where the OS must be able to do just about anything we need to suit everyone.

  • @gnu2tux Linux doesnt have viruses - yet. Any OS regardless of which one, is vulnerable if people decide to target it. We must never forget this!

  • do you know any good firewall for linux ???
