the poverty in india is INCREASING, not decreasing.

Its not only povery thats on rise but crime too. Difference between poor and rich is tooooo gross. I remember, night out was never aproblem for me in delhi in 1999 but now its hard to imagine. Loot, robery, killings for few rupees or your mobile. And taking your sis or gf out can not be imagined anymore

@CoolSubZero98 I thought British colonialism was actually responsible for the poverty in India. They exacerbated weather conditions to cause mass famine and purposefuly stopped community grain banks from reaching the people. They also used agriculture land for local consumption to grow tea and cotton for european societies causing large scale hunger.

Yes i agree media focuses more on glamour and bollywood and things like that...and yes india is improving...all we need is philanthrophists like gates,buffett who donate a lot
