Anyway people like it and that is why even these days this song is sung..It is noutanki and hence dance steps have to be crude which looks natural in a village.And Usha has distictive voice which is attractive as it is different from Lata and Asha....I thoroughly enjoyed song and dance..off course such songs and dance will go with time....J.B.Singh,Vashi,Navi-Mumbai

@forrkp Its true to the Most of the Songs of V Shantaram. The Songs are excellent but Sandhya in each frame ruins the song. Mr Shantaram (My he rest in Peace) was in love with her and thus her presence in each song. Just check our To Chupi hai kahan in Nav Rang and others songs in the movie she looks like a joker and some times I am embarrassed even to imagine that these comic steps have been done by some one in person

Sandhya obviously looks old, but there are some nuances of lavni dancing that she has expressed so well in this film, I doubt any younger actress could have done justice to. Watch closely not only this song but all others in the film. Sandhya was an accomplished cdancer and V S has used her skills in many of her films like Navarang.
