So ... A movie tribute? Don't you just love I did something 'different' HAHA! ...
...Well ... I don't know about that but I DO know I enjoyed soo much making this vid so dunno, hope you kids like it LOL!
... I made this as a challenge for the second round of BOIT! This time the point was to make a video telling a story that was already written; in my case; The Time Traveler's Wife; I picked this one cause:
First; I LOVED the book; it was SO beautiful! ... & I'm just a sucker for this kind of stories LOL
& Second; Cause it already had a movie made to it so I didn't have to go and search for a cast ... yeah; I know; I suck; I took the easy-road LOL ... but anyway I DID like the movie too! I LOVED Rachel McAdams as Clare and well ... didn't know too much of Eric Bana till this movie but I think he did quite awesome too
... So overall; I loved both; Book&Movie so of course I had to choose it! Hope you all like what I did xD
I just took a BEAUTIFUL song, because it is beautiful, don't ya think? LOL And set it to an incredibly BEAUTIFUL LOVE story! ... I hope you like it! xD
I'd like to dedicate it to:
+ GABY (gaby0189): Of course just cause she's awesome hehe ... but also & mostly cause she was the one that got me hooked into this story all over again with two awesome videos about it she did not so long ago ... You should ALL check them out, too good for words LOL
+ Haleigh (OurForever22) : Cause she's so awesome too and also cause I know she loves this story *maybe* as much as I do LOL! ... I remember she was all crazy about it last year when it was in the theaters so Idk; I hope you still like it sweetie ... Plus; I don't think I have ever dedicate anything to you and you're such a SWEETHEART & so good to me so that fact made me sad so anywhoo, this is for Youuuu! Hope you like it! xD
~ Now a little onto the plot of the story just in case some of you aren't familiar to it ;)
The novel tells the stories of Henry DeTamble (born 1963), a librarian at the Newberry Library in Chicago, and his wife, Clare Abshire (born 1971), an artist.
Henry has a rare genetic disorder, which causes him to involuntarily travel through time. He begins time traveling at the age of five, jumping forward and backward relative to his own timeline. When he leaves, where he goes, or how long his trips will last are all beyond his control.
At the opening of the novel 20-year-old Clare meets 28-year-old Henry at the Newberry Library in 1991, he has never seen her before, although she has known him most of her life.
Once their timelines converge "naturally" at the library, Henry starts to travel to Clare's childhood and adolescence in South Haven, Michigan, when she is six years old.
Clare and Henry marry, but Clare has trouble bringing a pregnancy to term because of the genetic anomaly Henry may presumably be passing on to the baby. After several miscarriages, Henry wishes to save Clare further pain and has a vasectomy. However a version of Henry from the past visits Clare one night and gets her pregnant; she subsequently gives birth to a daughter, Alba.
Before she is born, Henry travels to the future and meets his ten-year-old daughter on a school field trip and learns that he died when she was five years old.
Then the movie changed looots of stuff, Henry in the book got his legs amputated because of one of his travels but in the movie he got to keep them but somehow remained in a wheelchair which in the end lead to the same; he was unable to walk which is why, without that ability he will certainly die within his next few travels ... thing that happened, on New Years Eve he traveled to the past and got shot, in the book by Clare's brother but oh well ...
... In the end he comes back to her wife and died in her arms, that remained the same, though the 'where' got changed a little ...
The movie finished with one last visit of Henry to Clare in the same place they met, I think that was super cute btw lol ... But in the book it was quite beautiful I think ... There was this letter in which Henry have told her not to wait for him; thing he said indeed in that last visit in the movie too but anyway ... in the book they went forward to when Clare was... hmm ...82 and then she get what may or not be that last visit from Henry; it finishes with them in an embrace!
Aw; don't you think its epic LOL ...Kidding!! Hope you read it if you haven't; beautiful piece!
... Also watch the movie if you haven't; it's goood! xD
