  • 20 years and more I have looked for this...the song of me and my soul sister, since murdered. WOW. Thank you!

  • Was this recorded on a T-81?

  • "Great in this video" ? "heads examined!" ??

  • 2 synced up studer a800 2" 24 track and a studer a820 1/2" 2 track.

  • ssl 4k

  • Back when mixing meant mixing and not turning a pop song into an dance song by replacing all the music. That song has potential in it's own right to make one dance. Glad to see this, I liked Chris Lore-Alge's mixes back in the 80s

  • @davec271 No, it's an SSL E series. The master section is a dead give away. You can see the computer and bus compressor clearly. There's a close up of the channel strips at 8:48, look at the bus selectors, input controls and dynamics.

  • @davec271 Looks like a SSL to me. Love the fact of them using the tape machines. Very nice!!

  • @juicey1984 don't mean to burst your bubble but that is a Neve VR Legend. I'd recognise that awesome console anywhere

  • dodgy video quality, ah the 80s
