Ummah Caramel Chocolate Bar for Muslims television commercial. Filmed in the London Borough of Newham on Green Street. Taste test carried out by the public on new halal chocolate bar for the muslim community. Current Orange bar is designed by British artist Aerosol Arabic, and similar plans are for other confectionery products. The advert was shown on Islam Channel and B4U - Bollywood for you.

i think this product really appeals because of the social responsibility the company claims to take as well as its ethical stance, but thats not really shown in the ad. Just an observation, dont mean to offend.

Also if this product is organic it should soooo be available in health shops, (super- healthy consumers tend to be more environmental and etc

Thanks Asma - Please do keep the observations coming - no offence taken :) As we are not as large as some of the existing food companies we are seeing how we can use our business structure to support projects. Like on the Orange bar we are trying to promote Islamic art by having the wrapper designed by Aerosol Arabic who merges grafitti with Arabic. We also used out promotional material to try and help Muslim Youth Helpline. So we are very much open to ideas on how we can improve please.

If you all start asking in your local shops and supermarkets to stock we should be able to get them to Australia soon Insha'Allah. Our success in the UK has been based on customers asking for the chocs in their local shops.

Try Tescos, ask for the 'ethnic foods' aisle. At least, the Tesco I work in stocks it.

Ive tasted the chocolate once some time ago and did like it. Problem is ive never seen it in any shop since then, or at least havnt noticed it any where.
