CALL ME JOE, a five part web-series explores gay dating and HIV disclosure with irreverent humor and adult puppetry..


Be One City, an online global positive community paving the way for HIV positive gay men to meet, chat and hookup, hired the irreverent and HIV positive writer/performer David LeBarron to tackle the problem of creating dialogue within the gay community about status disclosure through humor and compassion. "Disclosure is pretty much the crappiest part about being positive, I mean besides the other crappy parts," David laughs, "so I wanted to create a piece that would make people talk, or possibly reference as a segue into their own status."


Be One City Inc. was begun by Peter Brook and David Purdue, to fill the void Mr. Brook found online when he became positive. The company targets HIV positive men on a local, national and global level. The company intends to expand its online services to provide a global HIV positive "sister" site within a year that will serve the heterosexual positive community.


In Episode 3, "Dropping in Love" everything David hears is telling him to tell Joe. Will he?
