Oh goodness, I wonder if the person who made up the character for dumb and dumber loved this song and gave Jim Carey the gap in his teeth because of this guy...the hair is kinda the same too. By the way, I loved this song before dumb and dumber.

Whenever I hear this song,I think of a girl I admire or have a crush on sitting beside me and smiling at me while we gaze at each other.
-
@guilford62 I honestly did not think of the "flower girl" as a flower girl per se,which is odd considering the era and year in which this song was released.I sort of got turned off when it was featured in Dumb & Dumber because most of my generation or younger only remembers the song from there;I heard it on the radio for years before that.

If the guy held that guitar any higher you wouldn't see his face! Nice song though!

One example of why I had the "gap" filled in on my front teeth!!!!!
Loved the Group.

@kub73158 At least they have teeth unlike many New Englanders with rotten teeth.
-
Such a pretty melody! Who is the group? Is the name a special meaning? The comments do not make any sense-or it is less sense then usual for having information from fans of the group. There seems to be only small amount of recorded material on them.

when i hear this i want to piss in a beer bottle like dumb and dumer .

One of my favorite songs from the 1960's. Still sounds fresh even now.

@jonruss56 = are u on crack? i said this group, meaning the cowsills, were the group that actually played and sang, that the TV show the partridge family was based on. not that the cowsills were named the partridge family..lmao! get off the pipe!!!
this isnt a rare color clip, its just a B&W video horribly made into a color clip. Keep it black and white!! Its just like when they try to change the WW2 war videos into color, they suck!!

@snnk141kursk It's from the Cleveland show "Upbeat", which was broadcasted in color from 1967 to around 1971.
