I have always wanted to see and have imagined a video for this song. You did a beautiful job. I was hoping to find something like this on Veterans' Day.

Looking at these pictures, and listening to the greatest song (and most emotional) of Motorhead's, I have to say this:
Those brave men, women and children who fought and died in that war, did more in their dinner time than we'll ever hope to do in our entire lives.
May such tragic events never be repeated, and may there never be a reason to make war "acceptable".
This song clearly shows that we glorify war too much, and that children will die in the process. Thanks for the upload ^_^

@Briselance I actually remember your names normally & if I don't, I look it up...you will never be forgotten, at least not by me...my husband spent 22 years in

@leesherman100 Lee, I am so sorry for the idiots who treated you and every other brave US serviceman so bad. Your mission was so important, and the stupid US media was then, and still is now, under the control of the enemy. Propaganda is a very effective weapon. We pulled out of south Vietnam even though we were winning. We sacrificed so many, just to give up and walk away! The people of Vietnam now suffer in silence under Marxist rule, and US borrows $ from China!

It will never be. As long as humans will be, there will be things and ideals to defend, to stand for. Things and ideals worth killing, fighting and dying for.

"being in an army is noble and necessary"
Indeed, it is. Saying the contrary would be utterly false, for it all depends on the cause defended by the army.
"cos idiots want to join"
Would you dare to go in a cemetry, somewhere in Normandy, in the Ardennes, in the Somme or even at Gallipoli and yell "you joined ? You were all idiots" to the hundreds of soldiers buried there ?
If so, then you are heartless.
-
Well, even if their remains are unidentified, there's at least a name, somewhere on an old army paper, stating that pfc Mc whatshisname, sgt dunnohim are reported missing.
Even if the corpse found back some 90 years later is a nameless one, he is, somehow, remembered.
"There's nobody remembers our names
And that's how it is for a soldier "
Wrong. Even if they have just a tombstone with no name on it, even if their remains could fit in a shoe-box, I repeat : they will never, EVER be forgotten.

@Briselance I seriously hope not. But to those in power the only time a commoners name matters is when it suits their needs. Just my observation.

As I stated in the Info section, I am not intentionally leaving anyone out. That's why it's dedicated to all that fought and lost their lives regardless of what side or nationality. Thanks for viewing, and the comment though.

Actually, I found most of the movies on public domain sites while I was doing research for a story I am working on. They touched me enough to do this video. Thanks for the comment!
