Great recording. It really shows his style of playing. I used to know Richie Havens; he was friends with my neighbor and hung out there. He tried to teach us how to play guitar but his fingers were so different from ours it didn't work. He has big, thick fingers and he does a lot of laying the index finger across the strings and strumming. We had these thin delicate fingers and all we'd get was buzzing when we did that. So he told us he thought we'd be better off learning banjo. :)
