The Last Farewell ~ Roger Whittaker / Take 2

Heard this song, maybe ten years ago, and was amazed at this man's voice. He came to Detroit, MI and I had to see him.  Roger Whittatker is even more amazing in person. Kudos, Mr. Whittaker!!!

My father loved this mans music, as do I. Memories, fishing in Sekiu WA.  Thanks Dad.

My dad was an engineer in the Merchant Navy, and I remember when he was home he used to sing this song to us when he was peeling the vegitables in the kitchen preparing dinner. We played this at his funeral last year. Needless to say this song makes me cry when I hear it, and will be part of my life and my childrens lives for a long time. Love you dad xx

For some reason, this song always brings a lump to my throat-my father introduced me to Roger Whittaker and I think he's wonderful. Beautiful, moving song.
