the only problem is after 18 years with her mother, having her go to jail now would be pretty painful. I can imagine her not caring about this new found dad as much as she cares about her mom.
On a side note I think the dad in this vid looks way better than the mom. She fat.

Sad that the family has missed out on this child, of course. However, it is clear there is more to this story than appears.

where i live if you are not married to the woman mother of your child and she decides to leave theres nothing you can really do.plus she may have told them where she lives now she was running away from her abuser theres always two sides to every story we don't know the reason why she did it

if it's their child how is it kidnapping?

Let's get this out there and find Sigourney.
I don't know who said it: "there is so much bad in the best of us and so much good in the worst of us, that it hardly behooves the best of us to talk about the rest of us" but it guides everything I do. Truth - I am not flawless and Patricia is not a demon. Nor is the reverse true. Her spite was born of hurt and I played a role in the breakdown of our relationship and communication. This isn't about her or me (I am sure our differences can be talked out). It's about a girl.

Hi Ferret,
Good question: I have come across it a lot in 15 years. Kidnapping by law is defined by the act of unlawfully removing a child from their environment. Being as the act is traumatic and arguably abusive, the relationship of the abductor has no consideration in the charges.
In Sigourney's case, by legal order, she had the right to both parents - if either took her underground we would legally be kidnappers. Sigi has a right to the love of her brother, father, cousins, Gramma etc.
