You stay out all night? WTF. They're probably thinking "American girls are such ho's."

Does your family have internet or do you pay for it yourself; and how often are you able to use it?

Hi! I'm planning to go attend Sophia University in Tokyo in Fall 2011. I just want to ask where you were able to find a host family? Is there a program you signed in or was it part of your exchange program?
I am having a hard time choosing between a dorm and a host family. The only thing I am worried about is that I will end up staying with a bad host family.

@dbzchick101 It was part of my exchange program, I had the choice of staying with a host family or in the dorms. Host family is my rec., but it also depends on the type of person you are. It's important to be flexible and comfortable with trying a different lifestyle. And if you do get a bad host family, it will still be an experience, right? And if it's that bad, I know some people here who were unsatisfied with their host families so they moved back to the dorms, does your school allow that?
