Window Snyder, chief security officer for Mozilla Corp., the creator of the Firefox browser, sat down with Prof. Eric Johnson, director, Center for Digital Strategies, to share how their unique, open business model has attracted more than 200 million users. Snyder, whose mother taught her to program BASIC when she was five, spearheads Mozillas open source efforts to provide a free and extremely secure browser. She explains how a self-selecting group of security experts help her target and fix vulnerabilities. She also discusses why Mozilla differs from other companies and the future of internet security.
