i mean time scales, at least the sound. sometimes they are perceptible. the sound is made of phrases that are transposed around according to the l-system. as a result, patterns emerge both within the phrases as well as on timescales much larger than the phrases themselves. this self-similarity in time also translates to similarity in length. all that said, this is an early l-system of mine, and its visuals may not reflect the self-symmetry very nicely. i think it's audible, though.

you mean structures at different time scales? are they noticiable by human perception ?
