Lmfao! Fuck it, man... i went out and bought a 32inch Flat CRT off craigslist for $25.
Scanlines are better anyhow...which you had already mentioned!
Bless Phonedork! Extracting that 480 signal from the Genesis is a beautiful thing!

Ok fuck all that, my shit came in today and didnt fucking work. I tried all 3 LCDs in ny crib even the LED. The only tv that flavoured a signal was the old ass Olevia bankrupt LCD tv, however it only displayed 1/4 of the screen and the rest was fuzz!
SOO is it the converter or the TVs!?

@AKNOREDDOT I dont know be honest. It could be the scart cable, the video transcoder (CSY 2100 or what ever device you used), or if your TV is set at 120HZ. If so set your TV to 60 HZ and make sure you are not using wide screen. Use full screen.

YOURE SAYING I JUST NEED THE CYP IF I HAVE A MODEL 1. CORRECT?
AKNOREDDOT 5 months ago
@AKNOREDDOT Yes, since you have a model 1 Genesis you have a external stereo port in front of the system. So get you a CSY 2100 and a sega genesis scart cable and convert the RGB on your television and uses the stereo port on your model 1 for sound. There is also a CVS2087 which is another RGB to component video transcoder like the CSY 2100. I got one for 49.99 dollars on Ebay. It works great on my NeoGeo, but looks a little distorted on the corners of a flat screen LCD, it may be my scart cable
