1984 Kawasaki Ninja A1 GPz900R walkaround and startup

Recently restored GPz 900 Ninja , the first years model is ready for the road again after some gentle restoration work and new tires. Running a pair of Avon RoadRider tires in the stock sizes with a Yoshimura 4 into 1 exhaust and recently rebuilt and jetted carburetors. This is an early serial numbered model making it a really nice collectible bike. Even though it's 28 years old , it looks showroom good and runs like a top! I spent a grip of money restoring it , but had a great time bringing this classic back to life and getting it back on the road where it belongs. The Tire sizes are 180/30/18 rear and 180/20/16 front. I have a list of all the places I scavenged parts from. I used OEM parts whenever possible but some things like the windscreen screws were difficult to find so I had to use a suitable replacement.

Do you have the original exhaust?

@tmristen unfortunately not , it had the Yosh on it when I got it but I did most of the cosmetic and repaint work

Looks great ! Sounds great too. Are those the original handlebar grips or replacements ? How did you blacken the plastics around the clocks? They look like new.
