Yup. He fucked up late 90s. In every way possible.

But he always sounded great on the albums. Their latest songs like Hellbound and Revolution Is My Name still have awesome vocals :). He just couldn't sing most songs live anymore. He never was a very good sounding live singer if you ask me, yes in the early 90s and late 80s he was great, but I know better live singers. Still he's my fav vocalist of all time :)

But his performances with Down in the 2000s are great :).

@Brutalyeah come on... I'll never hate on the music, but Phil's performance in the band went from fucking awesome to like "what the fuck is that guy doing and what happened to the god damn singer?" look up the later live shows, Phil couldn't even sing anymore let alone scream. Kinda sounded like he was swallowing some of his beard with his antidepressants. You know what I'm talkin about lol
