  • Chuck Woolery spoke about his grandmother being Black. After he spoke about it he was somewhat blackballed soon after.

  • Wow! I didn't know Chuck Woolery was part black. He was cool on that dating show back in the day.

  • Where are you getting this information? I looked online and can't find anything about chuck having a black g-ma.

  • Regarding the message about black female stars passing for white in Hollywood...well...there are rumours that Dinah Shore, Dorothy Lamour, Linda Darnell, Ava Gardner, and others were doing just that. If blonder than blonde Carol Channing can suddenly open up and claim to have had a black grandparent...who knows?

  • Dinah Shore admitted to being creole. Back in the 80's Phil Donahue counted over 4 million (part) blacks who probaly disappeared into the white race.

  • @sbenn75 Wow Iam learning something new here.

  • I have seen enough multi-racial and biracial people in my own family to see just how "white" some people can comeout... BUT even with Carol Channing- I can see beyond the blonde hair and light skin to see how strong her grandmother's genes are. It's in her strong jawline that it is most evident.. and the shape of her eyes- hell- I question just how white some people who are "white" really are. Just like there are many blacks w/ white in them, I feel that there are white with black in them.

  • I never cared for this film, although the whole race issue is quite intriguing throughout it. My Mom was darker than my sister and I, and neither of us could have EVER thought about pulling some CRAP like this!

  • He spoke about it once on a old love connection show. He was blackballed and Arsenio Hall stood by his side in which Arsenio lived in the same area in Beverly Hills Ca as Chuck. That was something that the producers of the show definitely didn't want to hear.
