  • The watch is amazing.

  • @tkcwu very ezey

  • it's a shame to make a review on this baby using a 240 video quality..

    sorry

  • 904l steel is pointless, why not use titanium instead? far more corrosion resistant than ANY steel, and would help the weight of the watch.

  • "Rolex is one of only three in-house manufacturers"

Sorry mate, that maybe what the sales girl told you, but there are heaps of in-house manufacturers. Jaeger-leCoultre is probabally best, along with Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet, Glaschutte Original, A. Lange & Sohne, Omega, Officine Panerai, Breguet, et al.

But no one mass produces in-house movements like Rolex, around 1 million per annum.

  • Its the best divers watch o.k but looks really Fred Flintstone, big, clumsy, give me the GMT master any day, my friend actually gave his son his GMT master and now wears this monster, guess he changed his name to Forest Gump at the same time. As for limited availability don't believe it most Jewellers are selling at cut price.

  • enuff of the explainations.. give me the watch or you die dude!!

  • 440C has moderate corrosion resistance 904L does have higher corrosion resistance but it is not the super metal ROLEX makes it out to be.

    15-5 PH CRES

    17-7 CRES

    13-8 CRES

All have superior strength, harness and equal corrosion resistance to 904L but they are more expensive and harder to machine. The point is ROLEX is selling a line of shit to those that don't know any better

  • 300 series stainless is standard stuff and you will find that in terms of strength or harness they are all very similar.

  • What about 316L used for most watches?
