Maybe because it had some minor airplay back in late 1985 and maybe till early 1986 but with no success apparently. I think his songs had potential and that he was a really talented session musician. Get It On was a club hit back then in Holland. Unbelievable that such a great track didn't hit the charts in other countries.

@Therealanimale I really was into it even in those years in my early teens. Kareltje Import might ring a bell... Ferry Maat's Soul Show. Knew some DJ's who bought themselves poor with 12"s. Devoured every mix, every remix, every re-remix version...thought I knew a few good songs from that time. But since YT I learned I knew almost nothing from what was really floating around. Unbelievable what keeps popping up here from those days:)
