@bluesprof the band hadn't even had time to finish composing an album properly when the managers sent it on the road!!!! To me, (and to Clapton), Blind faith could have been a much better band than Cream but the gods didn't want it that way! had to cry, well allright, presence of the Lord were better comositions than any of Creams(which I like). There's always idiots in the audience, who can only hear what they know by heart...

No police no barricades no MTV - just people groovin to the music. The greatest generation.

Anyboady know what kind of organ Stevie is using? Not a Vox Connie (red) or a Farfisa (grey). But what?

...so great. I love "raw" performances such as this.
Too bad the violin solo in the middle couldn't be pulled off in this environment. Just watching this, it's so obvious how thoroughly Winwood dominated this band, singing every tune and writing all but "Presence of the Lord".
Great performance.

Is that Donovan in a white suit, at about five minutes and ten seconds in?..sure looks like him..

Wow! By the way, are you still alive?

@FlintboyG yes lol
There was great music at the late sixties.I wonder, what it was that brought about that musical bloom. I don't believe that one generation is in music more talented than another. And however, do we have today anything to compare to Sandy Denny, Bluesbreakers, Blind Faith, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Michael Bloomfield, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin ? One can say that all of those performed with passion and followed uncompromisingly the musical ideas of their own.
