my first rpg game was breath of fire 1, i thought it was so much better then final fantasy 4, The story of it is really good.

Problem with sprite games is they haven't come up with the tech. The PS2 sprites for sprite games were ps1 gen but made bearable because they had spiffy 3d backgrounds and good special effects, but holy fuck.
When you have quad GPUs why the hell are you still making sprites that look 10 fucking years old? Cross edge, Diesgea 3 had budgets in the tens of millions and I swear to god those game could have played on my PS1.
And people wonder why NIS is hemorrhaging cash.
