McCain roasts Obama, TORCHES Olbermann

John McCain roasts Obama, calls out MSDNC, and torches their resident nut-job Keith Olbermann at the Alfred Smith memorial dinner. Obama might be slightly more palatable if he posessed even the slightest ability to laugh at himself a bit... but alas, the leader does not.

However: you think that pointing out Obama's habit of comparing McCain to Bush is a zinger directed at Obama? Obama would LOVE for anyone and everyone, at a memorial dinner/ roast, at the watercooler, ANYWHERE to know that he compares McCain to Bush. He spends millions and millions of ad dollars to do it, son. Get your head out of your ass, or at least your TV off MSDNC for a spell.

the fact that you assume i'm a kid speaks to your perceptiveness. i'm 45... true i'm a student, but the phd variety. the main difference between you and i is that i'm not invested in any particular party line. palin might have "experience" but she is ignorant and unprepared for the vp job. she winks and bullshits her way through simple questions. how on earth can you know she's honest, because fox tells you so? all politicians lie. we're always choosing between the lesser of two (or more) evils.

saying things that are plainly not true is lying (e.g. bridge to nowhere). as for obama's past, nobody, rises to significant power without being bought by the real power of the world. the notion that obama "pals around with terrorists" is too facile to even discuss. in the eyes of much of the world, the next president will be a terrorist. that's what happens when you invade other countries for your own national security (oil). who's next to be bombed? and yes, my government is also guilty.

I didnt get what u ment by the former coming across as a liar? I do understand about the war let face no one likes it its a terrible thing but I also feel that if we back out now and let up on our national security we will be in great danger and thats what Obama wants to do.I have to look out for whats best for my family thats first in my life.I do feel at this point Obama does not have the experiance or knowledge to do what we need done.Also I dont like his past its a bit shady for me:)

well, i'm canadian so if i wanted to see my own doc i could and i don't have to worry about going bankrupt over it. i'm not a fan of obama any more than mccain, per se, but at least the former doesn't come across as a desperate liar. in any case, we'd all be kidding ourselves if we believed they're not all ultimately the same. it's just a matter of how many people die to fulfill his or his ambitions. as a fellow citizen of this planet, i'd have to hope for the one a bit less committed to war.
