Pakistan Arrests 16 Indian Fishermen

Pakistani maritime authorities have arrested 16 Indian fishermen and seized three boats for illegally venturing into Pakistan's territorial waters on Wednesday.

The arrested fishermen were handed over to police in the southern port city of Karachi on Thursday.

All the arrested fishermen are from western Indian state of Gujarat.

The South Asian rivals frequently arrest each other's fishermen for venturing into each others waters.

The relations between India and Pakistan have been tense after the militant assault in the Indian city of Mumbai last year. They also have a disagreement over their maritime border in the Arabian Sea.

This poor fisherman are not speaking Punjabi language, they are not from Indian Punjab, if they speak Punjabi language they will be the honorable guest of PM house, like Sikh’s who are coming to Lahore. Stop violence against innocent fisherman of neighbor country. Free all fisherman of India from the jail of Pakistan and Bering them to Khokhrapar border and not to Wagah Border. Stop harassment of non-Punjabis. Why so much differ treatment between Sikh’s and other language speaking people?
