WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE BLACK COMMUNITY:

1. Lack of education. Too many blacks dropping out of high school & not going to college

2. Lack of family unity. Too many blacks being born out of wedlock & no family structure.

3. Hip-hop culture and ghetto culture

4. Men degrading women and women enjoying being degraded

5. Ignorant language & phonetics

6. No real role models, only entertainers (actors, rappers, athletes, etc)

@dqham so am I. I'm more sick of the term "african american". Such horseshit. What about blacks in England? Are they african-british? Only in the US would a moronic term like this take hold.

Every race except white is a *blank*-american. That is racist in and of itself.

Black folks are black folks. Not african americans. How many of yall ever been to Africa?

1. No Black Power government

2. We are not allow to print our own money

3. Killing each other over street name, that we do not own in reality

4. We don't own our own land to farm, to build business & houses, outside the laws.

5. We don't have international Black unity to support each like White people. "E.U & USA".

@blacklion661 no one said most people in jail are black. WTF are even talking about? There are victim witness statistics that back up criminal statistics. It is factual that blacks commit more crimes than any other race, proportionally. This is not debatable, it is empirical fact. You go on thinking its a "setup", keep feeling like a victim. Its been working great for the black community hasn't it....

@VegasBilgeRat lmao people need to let go the theory of most men in jail is black unless you been there...im from cali an most men in jail/prison are most likely ispanics an when you in the holden tank there are about 15 of them agains 5 of you everytme....there is a statistics on blacks in jail 75% of us are in jail for non violent crimes....sounds like a setup up to me.....

these aren't in order:

1: The Crack outbreak in the 80's

2:Poor decision making when it comes to money and credit

3:Poor educational system in urban areas

4:we never listen to eachother: be it young vs old, male vs female, religious vs non-religious, etc.

5:Irrational decisions when it comes to "love" that ruin families.

if we was to get back loving each other yes some of us have flaws with love work on each other. The dollar bills became the only thing we love through the week we spend most of our time chasing it on the weekend we hit up the spot to spend it and give a little bit of to God hoping that he can bless it and give you more of it. So when i say love we give it all to the money and not each other. As far as people talking bout leadership if we dont get this love thing right leadership will love money

The most powerful to have is unity.so i only have two lack of love and selfishiness see when things dont go right its easy to say well its the Government fault or welfar dont work. or daddys arent their. but we all are trying to get that American dream for our selve lets help each other up stop complainning and lets get together and as a people make it better if we was to ever get togather like Dr. King them then MartinLuther king street wouldnt be the worst on the block but no 106 and park on

1. Education: This is the main issue which sets the community off on a downward spiral, and influences the next 4 problems.

2. An inability to resist the ghetto culture

3. Lack of community and trust

4. Lack of female leadership

5. Lack of values

But who knows how to fix these problems. How can you give education to people to who don't want it, and no authority figures (competent parents) to enforce it. How can you make women stand up when they're content laying down. It takes time.
