Wow amazing it seems great looking at behind the scenes of what happens behind BBC News when getting ready for the News programmes as you can see at 0:00 and it is great seeng the N6 studio at 1:31 1:32 I tell you something it is amazing seeing how they get ready for before the National News programmes as at 0:00 very fantastic cool

Reminds me of when I got to be in the control room for a News at 1 broadcast, with Leonard Parkin. They don't just present but write material themselves as shown here. What's fascinating about news broadcasts is that they tie in recorded and live material, but more importantly have to respond to breaking news on the spot. And then pulling it off like they rehearsed it a million times, and keeping within a precise schedule. Thanks so much for posting.

poor huw, had to deliever the worst news possible, BUSH IN POWER AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAARGH -
Some shows don't have preset subtitles though. They have recorded shows that play out with somebody broadcasting the subtitles live. The only example I could think of is the Big Brother highlights when there isn't time to have everything subtitled beforehand.
So what does Anna Ford mean when she says the One O'clock News is completley live?

I think she meant that the One O'Clock News was more like rolling news (i.e. similar in style to News 24), with developments while the programme was on air. By the time the Six O'Clock News goes on the air, most of the news has already happened so it is more polished/prepared. I don't know if that's what she meant, but it's how I took it at the time.
