Mate you have given me some real inspiration to start making music, it has been on my mind for years but I have just never pushed myself and after seeing this I really want to make a start. I have just downloaded Ableton, purchased a midi keyboard/pads and the same mic as you. Hopefully I will make the push and start making some great tunes soon, thanks for this video and I would love you to make more like it, cheers buddy.

@doucheorturd2012 dude, its a computer program before anything else.

All things that are created are based on inspiration. To create is to copy what was already there.

@doucheorturd2012 Not really mate. This is a tutorial helping other producers, so you can take note of what he has shown you and make your own sound :)

@electrotrolha Yeah I love the session view where you can mix things up and see how they sound it's amazing. Been working on a track the last 2 days with all my own sounds that I made with my microphone '/watch?v=ov-UVcJWxhg', what do you think. It's not finished yet so feedback would be great. Like I said it's my first ever attempt at making a track so don't be too harsh on me lol I have so much to learn!
To anyone wondering about which DAW is better than the next, it's all about workflow. Burial used a broken laptop with Sound Forge to make his music. DJ Shadow used an MPC 60 to make "Endtroducing" which was named one of the best albums of all time.
Anything you use will be superior to what artists 15 years ago had to work with.
The most valuable tool in your studio is YOU.

@doucheorturd2012 "I'd hate to copy burial's style for my own music though... "
It was never my intention to copy anyone's style. I clearly stated that I was bored and wanted to share some knowledge.
