  • Thank you for the feedback. My Shakespearean coach directed me to say it that way, but I can see your point and will try it next time.

  • It is hard to find a dude interested in Shakespeare these days! When I say I like his work they all say I'm a poser! I like the story of A Midsummer Night's dream better then Romeo and Juliet though it is good. Puck was my favorite character and was great in the Sisters Grimm series! You will be great in any play :)

  • i play the same part in our school play! But, I'm a girl. :) But I think the role suits you... I only think that you talk a bit fast. Some pauses make it interesting.

When I do this scene I walk around a lot, jumping and skipping. But maybe your interpretation of Puck is a different one. All in all, well done!

  • Way to go dude, this is very good.

  • i'm doing this monologue for a shakespear contest for the pittsburgh public theatre...

  • You definitely have the skill to play this character. Just, don't play it like he's saying, "Whoah, whoah, whoah. I'm sorry, there's no need for violence." Puck is, to be blunt, an asshole. He gets his kicks from playing pranks. He's telling that people to grow a set and deal with what they saw, and if they can't, then just pretend it didn't happen. Well, maybe not so aggressive, but you get the point.

  • kool! Im Puck 2! 4 ma play in March

  • Real good job! :) I got to play puck! Best part FREAKING EVER!!! :) :) :)

  • You are VERY talented! Fantastic diction really brings the genius of the words to life.

Two things: 1) Remember the scene in context - he is sending the audience away after seeing magic and fantasy & tells them that if they're offended to get over it b/c fiction is fantasy & no more real than a dream. Try it impish with condescension. 2) When he says "give me your hands" he means clap for me if you liked the show. that is the primary meaning.

You're really awesome. Keep it up!!!

  • love this so much! that's fabulous! :)
