This is the worlds largest tree crusher in action crushing a tree. This clip was shot in 8mm in approx 1965 or 64 by my father Keith Simmons (RIP). 45 years later his son is selling condos in Mackenzie BC check them out at http://mackenziecondos.blogspot.com/ . This tree crusher is a massive machine that makes a monster truck look small. No matter how you measure it this was a big machine. I think the ideal was to crush the trees before they flooded the valley with the water from the new dam.

  • that thing got stuck they couldn't pull it out with like 10 d8's and that crusher at the beginning so they drained the fluids and blew the dam effectively making one of bc's largest man made lakes. With the worlds largest tree crusher at the bottom

  • It might also be worlds ugliest machine

  • The best part was the Christmas tree, with all the presents underneath. WAS THAT ALSO CRUSHED? 0:55

  • That is an awesome machine, massive!!
