So do those affect the tactile response of your fingertips? Or cause pain if you have to press your fingertips really hard into something? Like would it affect playing guitar, either for the hand pressing the frets, or the other hand finger-picking?

I just set my appointment for my magnets, but I just got my iPad 2. Thank you for getting to this issue before I did. How much of a pain is it (the interference with the iPad, not the procedure)? Doesn't actually cause a problem?
