As a future Parliamentarian, I am DISGUSTED that this would happen.
-
One seconds a motion - - not a nomination, as is heard here. And no seconded motion was made to the motion to close nominations.
I guess if one wants to nominate someone and have them voted on first, they'd better be fast talkers!

Well who cares anymore just show up and collect a check, wing-it however you want and call it job well done.
-
Also, there is also the issue of conflict of interest involved in this scam.
-
That's plain stupid. The motion to close the nomination needs to be seconded and should have at least a majority vote.
-
I didn't hear anyone second to close the nominations... Did I miss that? I also thought that there should be a vote on both nominees. But I guess they could assume that the no's would have voted for the other individual and it wouldn't have been enough?? Definitely studying these more.

Bastards.
Very sad display of ignorance. These are the people charged with representing us in matters of real importance!!!
