Canseco was obviously telling the truth, but why is this shithead so eager to screw his comrades over? Because he's a faggot media-whore who craves attention. He only wrote this book to get some face-time and make some money - and mind you, he was a bottom-feeder who needed money when he "wrote" this book.

I am on Canseco's side. Yes, he is arrogant, however, what he said in his books was true. I now suspect ALL world class atheletes, with the exception of race car drivers, to be taking some type of performance enhancement. Maybe he sold out his commrads, however, baseball, our national past time, sold us out.

When I was young,about 20 years ago I was in try out camps with the NY Mets and Philadelphia Phillies. From the head scouts in charge of the program,we were informed that baseball was purely a business where a person if they were good enough could come out with a million dollar bank account and never would have to find a regular job again. Competition was fierce and a young drug dealer came up to a group of us at Phillies camp and offered to sell us steroids. He said to beat everyone out,

I always knew that there would be players using drugs, players corking bats, doctoring balls etc. to get an edge...But 40% or 50% of the league on drugs (or whatever ridiculously high percentage)? Am I the only one who's washed his hands of baseball? I might be an exception...But ever since the steroids and HGH scandal broke out, I have not watched or paid to see a game and I don't think I ever will again. I was an avid Mets fan from I was a little kid, I watched every game and went to 3 or 4 games a year. Now that all of these players have been exposed as cheats, I feel as if I was robbed of money and time when half of the game was on drugs...

Last I checked, anabolic steroids are an illegal substance so why is this dicklicking, scumbag not in jail for the rest of his pathetic life for distributing which carries a much harsher penalty than using? Also, it's not MLB's responsibility to contact shithead to get steroids out of baseball. All MLB can do is set the rules and drop the hammer on those who don't follow them but it is up to the owners/managers/coaches to regulate their teams. MLB only owes Canseco a lawsuit and felony charges.
