Business as usual in the downtown bar district, bar patrons after closing vandalize a downtown business on their way home presumably. One patron deliberatedly grabs and bends a metal panel out of shape further damaging it and causing additional property damage. And where are the Bloomington Police, oh its only Thursday night, and well tough sh*t because the police are just not in the downtown very much during the week nights to protect downtown businesses despite the fact that each week the masses of party buses bring hundreds to thousands of students to the downtown to get allegedly over-served (really, of course, I;m not driving, so I can drink that much more) and the City Council and Police all known this, But, do downtown businesses and property owners get any additional protection, as you can see from all the videos, of couse not. Why would you wan to discourge more drinking and more tax revenue, and a handful of bar owners getting rich under the Citys protection.
