From http://GetWrestlingStrength.com - Using the 1 arm dumbbell clean and press to develop full body strength and power for wrestling.

If you want to develop more wrestling conditioning, perform ALL 5 sets NON stop, increasing the weight of the dumbbell each set if possible.

  • Good stuff...Thanks!!!

  • But if he used the same form as for a heavy weight, which involves exploding upward with your legs, the weight would reach the top and keep going, which can be damaging to the joints. I do agree this is pretty bad form though

  • @3buttocks heavy or not, form should come first

  • @Russaldo13 its cos he's using a tiny weight - it would have been better if he used his 2 rep max or something. the videos of him actually training show it better

  • @XDSHo Im talking about the clean not the press, how is that not apparent?

  • @Russaldo13 He's push pressing, not jerking. It's perfectly fine.

  • that would a hang clean and press... also your arming the db up, the moment from your hips snapping forward should carry the db up, not your arms.
