Elvis Presley Young Dreams
Written by Aaron Schroeder and Martin Kalmanoff. Elvis recorded it January 23, 1958 at Radio Recorders. Take #8 was featured on the record. The song was used in Elvis 1958 film King Creole. It is available on the King Creole soundtrack, Elvis: The Other Sides-Worldwide Gold Award Hits, Vol. 2, and The King of Rock n Roll-The Complete 50s Masters.

(Young dreams of love, young dreams of love)
Young dreams (Young dreams, young dreams)
My heart is filled with young dreams (dreams)
And I'm longing to
Share them all with you

In my eyes, (my eyes, my eyes)
Oh can't you see in my eyes (in eyes)
That you're the only one who
Can make my young dreams come true

I have young arms
That wanna hold you (hold you)
Hold you oh so tight
I have young lips (lips)
That want to kiss you (kiss you)
Kiss you morning noon and night
Take my hand (my hand my hand)
Oh darling take my hand (take hand)
And let me make you a part
Of my young dreams of love

I have young arms
That wanna hold you (hold you)
Hold you good and tight
I have young lips
That want to kiss you (kiss you)
Kiss you morning noon and night

Take my hand (my hand my hand)
Oh darling take my hand oh oh oh (take hand)
And let me make you a part
Of all my young dreams of love
A part of all of my young dreams of love
(Young dreams of love, young dreams of love)

  • What a great combination of great looks and a great voice.

  • my favourite elvis song ever!

  • What a great song and great performance by the greatest!!!!!!!!!!

  • Now you know what he does for an encore...excellent.

  • One thing most Elvis fans have neglected for decades is that Elvis was an extremely great character actor, as good as if not better than Marlon Brando, but his extremely handsome face and singing talents over-shadowed his acting career and also sidetracked him into cooky-cutter actor-killing moves, but he shone in his initial movies before that happened. Movie critiques past and present owe him a long overdue apology.

  • This was his best movie.

  • @paulita0513 Nah, B&W is better for this, I hate it when they colourise old movies.

  • I wish this was in color

  • Jackie, I again thank you.

  • Jackiej61too--- Delores Hart was beautiful beside Elvis. Some of the actresses that were with Elvis seem to be older or Elvis just looked so sweet and innocent. Jackie you are such an expert, being serious, not being funny about this, WHO would you guess that Elvis lost HIS virginity to. Must have been someone!!!! I would appreciate an answer. When people are asked who would they like to have known, Elvis would always be my number one pick. A very special human being.
