For the Arts 60 Final, we had to create a mash-up with any video content. My mash-up includes various film and media clips of Asian Americans playing stereotypical roles as well as Asian Americans satirizing these roles through comedy. The purpose of this mash-up is to show how Asian Americans are still being portrayed in either submissive, exoticized, orientalized, or in other stereotypical roles. When Asian Americans tackle these stereotypical views, they still perpetuate the cycle of racism in the Asian American community, because their primary comedy material derives and survives from the basis of these ideas.

All clips were derived from YouTube:

"Karate Kid"

"MADtv :Season 12 Ep 08"

"Bobby Lee's Memoirs of a Geisha"

"Family Guy: Asian Trix Commercial"

"Finishing the Game - Trailer"

" Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris- Way of the Dragon"

"Rush Hour: 2"

"Long Duc Dong - 'What's Happenin' Hot Stuff'"

"Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle"

A Big Thank YOU to Bryan Jackson and Marc Sicignano
