dont waste your money on lessons. Self taught is the best and only way. Or have a friend teach you the basics.

Not at all. If you can survive the first day, which usually leaves you very sore, you can pick it up in just a few hours. Lessons are a must, though.

is it hard to learn how to snowboard?

I hit Steven's Pass last year. It was my first time on a real mountain. I know it isn't the biggest resort out there and I would have loved to hit Crystal Mountain, but it was some of the best and deepest snow I've ever seen.

I JUST moved to Oregon a couple months ago. The main thing I was looking forward to was the snowboarding. GOD this video is making me itch for the start of the season.

sweet. last time i went to meadows i got stuck in powder near the bottom next to the chair lift.. haha took me 10 minutes to get out.. people were giving me weird looks
