This is a great vid to watch his left arm/ grip. the club and clib head extends from his left shoulder. his right arm folds beautifully, but his right elbow is one of the key generators, the other is his weight shift to his left side. he gets into his left side then fires that right arm through. Notice he doesnt spin his hips too violently like Tiger used to do, not trying to generate power by flinging the hips at the target but using his right side to power throught the ball.

Likely a 9 iron. He was trying a couple of clubs to test the distance.
