The story of a Filipino American student who realizes that he has 10 hours to cook Adobo for his Lolo & Lola who are coming from the Philippines. Only one problem, he doesn't know how to cook! Don't forget to watch Part I first and the outtakes!

  • yeah man we forgot the toyo. i had an old school recipe and we were so focused on filming we didnt realize we didnt add the soy sauce.

    this movie reminds me of how i was. Always with my friends, not knowing how to cook filipino food, never going to the parties or knowing the entire family, getting called pogi pogi!! o and dancing to my ringtones lol...haha great vid, but the dad seems kind of bakla, but he made me laugh the hardest!!!

  • yup I think a lot of Filipino American's can relate to this from our generation but yeah I'm glad everyone likes it!

  • I saw that too... Anyway, the original adobo recipe uses salt and not soy sauce to season it. It has its roots in Spain and Mexico--during the galleon trade when the Phils is still a Spanish colony. The ingenious Filipino used soy sauce (most likely due to Chinese influence over our food's flavors), and made it the adobo we now know. BUT, some people here still uses salted adobo as a variation to the soy-seasoned one. Its called adobo sa puti (white adobo).
