If you want me to translate sth for you, you can ask me. The problem is that when you try to get the meaning of songs like 'O Que Será' e 'Samba de Orly' you will see that it's very difficult, because their lyrics criticize the dictatorship during the 70s here in Brazil.

Thank you for that information! It's nice to know that samba/bossa nova are so appreciated even in Russia. I'm also a guitar player and I do love to play these songs you've mentioned. I am a great fan of Chico Buarque and Baden Powell, for example. About Villa-Lobos: I'm looking for a good source of his 12 studies (it's amazing, isn't it?)so that I can learn from them.

You are right - I'm a Russian and I don't speak Portuguese. But I am interested very much and even try to do translations using the literal translation (word-for-word translation) - Samba de Orly, Samba para Vinicius, O Que Sera. It's Villa-Lobos's guild: I played his compositions since I was a child, as any guitarist. This samba-prelude had been translated into Russian by Igor Ivanov, who lives in the city of Tomsk (Siberia).
