Still being watched, still being appreciated after all this time! The word 'lovely' is used a lot here and mirrors how I remember him from my youth.
Gentle comedy, (great asides to camera),his take on everyday tales, that people could relate to, very funny! My favourite: (paraphrased by Yarwood): "he's anyone's for a tin of beans!".....you are much missed Larry......regards to Slack and Everard! ;)

It's a shame that smug, aggressive, oily and desperately UNFUNNY people like the Kays, McIntyres, Bishops, Manfords and(Jimmy) Carrs of this world have conned people into thinking they're funny and ripped them off with their ghastly stadium shows.
Ken Dodd is the only truly great stand-up comic left now.

I am so glad I am of the age that I remember seeing people like Larry when they were the biggest names in entertainment. The last of the generation of variety artists who earned every ounce of their fame and adoration.

Thank you for uploading. I adored Larry, a truly wonderful entertainer who could bring the house down with a look to camera, a genius and a lovely, gentle human being. Greatly missed, dear Larry.
