Chris Christie I applaud your efforts:
The answer is that while the system is failing our children, it works very well for some adults. These adults include the leaders of the teachers unions. They include the politicians whom the unions reward with their cash and political support. They include the vast education bureaucracies. In business terms, we have a system that rewards the providers and punishes the customers.

Christie was similarly criticized for his 2007 recommendation of the appointment of The Ashcroft Group, a consulting firm owned by Christie's former superior, the former United States Attorney General John Ashcroft, as a monitor in a court settlement against Zimmer Holdings, an Indiana medical supplies company. The no-bid contract was worth between $28 million and $52 million.

Oh well. I can say from working in Bergen County on the Scott Garrett campaign, that there are a lot of decent Conservatives out there in New Jersey, so I have hope. Blue state Conservatives just have to stop acting like they are all alone and surrounded by libs everywhere, because there are more of them than they know.

As much as I agree with your statement, the only Republicans capable of winning statewide office in NJ are moderate Republicans.
