Monica Childs introduced me to proprietors Diane and Rich Lalley and together we toured DOTI's 5,000 square foot showcase. Childs is a real estate professional with Coldwell Banker's Winnetka North office and a frequent DOTI shopper.

Stay away. Mrs. Lalley fancies herself a designer but has no design degree. These fools bought a franchise & have to pay a large sum to DOTI Corporate every month. To afford that, they charge you way more than what most retailers charge for the same item & manufacturer & tell the designers to say if you object "yes, maybe you can get the furniture cheaper, but you won't get me and my expertise." Trust me, as an independent designer, I do charge hourly, but by far less on the same furniture.
