For me it doesn't use 717MB idle. It used to run 630MB Idle then I tweaked it slightly and now uses 450MB Idle.

Vista runs perfectly fine for me though, not slow whatsoever.

mines will not work everytime i boot it up it wont go to login screen and it says please wait i dont know what to do and i cant log in because login screen will not display i try waiting and if i do it will restart again WTF ?
