Life outside the all inclusive resort. They are the nicest person in the world that I was to meet. People in Cuba don't have all they wish for, but they are so generous. If they can, they will give you the moon without asking any questions or asking for anything in exchange.Everobody should go out the all inclusive resort see life with the cuban to see what every day means to them.
Must do it at least once in a life time

how can they be nice people? all they ask for is money and clothes and constantly harrass the tourist's,and if they can even rob them,they are a shallow people,if you do not give them money or clothes they spit on you,been there so i know all about these hypocrites.

I dont know what you are talking about. I've been to Cuba 12 times since 2005 never had any problem with the cuban people. Of course, like any where else in the world there is bad poeple. Here in Canada I've ask for close, money ect... I've been spit on by a New Yorker because I did give him money... So you should not juged all Cubain poeple.

They are nice poeple, they open there houses, they give you there food and hospitality. All this without giving them a damn pennie. Nada.

cubalibre im trying to go to cuba con mi fmailia. Can you recoomend a good place to go and hotel to stay in? Im looking for a 4-5 star all inclusive ideally, but i dont have that muchmoney to spend. my budget is about £3000 ish.

I noticed you have been there 12 times so thought you would good be a good person to ask.

I would like to go somewhere where there are sites to see and not long transfers from the airport.

I would be gratefull for any help you can offer. Thanksx

Sometimes there is a cause and effect to a situation. Maybe you were not nice yourself or you are ignorant in not learning more about the people and culture of the country you are visiting. If you are kind and respectful to others, no matter which country you are in, 9 times out of 10 people will be nice back. I have been to Cuba myself many times and even travelled there by myself as a single woman and was treated with more kindness and respect than I have received in any other country.

bondgurl70-know that i am not a spoiled brat,i worked very hard under a Democratic Government to enjoy the success i have to-day! the Cuban's in La Habana are the worst,constantly up your ass begging for money,and in the rest of the Cuban provinces it is the same---no money no friend's-PERIOD! if they invite you to their home it is with the expectation of you giving them MONEY!! Cuba is good for 2 thing's $1.00-puta's and $1.00 cerveza--buena's dia's mi amor!

i have been going to cuba for 7 years now every year love it and the people are lovely...we also have never had a problem..yes we have loads of friends their and we walk round the town has if we was at home..

I hope that the U.S. lifts the embargo soon. I just found out that my great great grandma came from Cuba. I am excited because I always had a connection with the Latino culture, even majoring in Spanish in college. I want to experience that part of my family. It doesn't matter that you all don't have a lot. All of the videos and pictures I have seen of Cubans show you all are HAPPY. That's more than I can say for many Americans. I think America should learn how to live with less.
